Theme Design

OneNet has a very powerful and flexible skinning system that allows virtually any design to be applied to a Neoreef OneNet based website. We refer to designs in OneNet as themes, which are constructed using standards based web design techniques consisting of HTML, images, and CSS.

Components

Themes are comprised of four components; the head container, style sheet, body theme, and modules themes. All of these components are optional, and are replaced at runtime by generic versions if they are omitted.

Head Container

The head container is a file that is used to add additional code beyond what OneNet adds between the html head tags. Read more…

Theme Style Sheet

Style sheets allow for much of the presentation to be separated from the content. In OneNet the theme style sheet is one of at least three style sheets included when pages are rendered. It defines the font styles and colors used by applications and the design. Read more…

Body Theme

The core of the design is the body theme file. It defines the layout structure between the html body tags and dynamic elements like content zones, navigation and login controls. Read more…
